Den är en direkt design tagen från Longines flygvapenklocka från 1935 som användes under andra världskriget för stridspiloterna hos Tjeckiska flygvapnet. Den är näst intill identisk och de har verkligen försökt hedra deras gamla design med rätta. Den är helt underbar och glimmrar fantastiskt i solskenet och passar nu till sommaren.

Longines has been associated with the aeronautical universe and its pioneers since the beginning of the 20th century. For this new timepiece, the brand takes inspiration from a model ordered by the U.S. Air Force in 1935.

The 1935 original had a 40 mm cushion-shape case. For the time, this was a significant size, mainly due to the fact that the movement inside came from a pocket watch – it was the hand-wound calibre 15-94 working with frequency of 2.5Hz (18,000 oscillations/h).
